It also has two good (not great) lenses, 2 extra batteries and the bag, a very complete Kit from Amazon. I am very happy with my purchase.We've always been Nikon users and this is the first Canon with us. It gives great colors and image quality. The only thing that kind of took me out balance is the position of the buttons, but that is because I was used to the Nikon D200 and D100 cameras. It is also a very light and compact camera in comparison with the D200, that became a little problem because when I grabbed the Canon t1i it felt very small between my hands and I had to practice a lot to get used to it, that affects your pulse when taking pictures with low-speed exposition time. The Canon EOS Rebel T1i features a 15.1Mp CMOS sensor (similar to the sensor found in the EOS 50D) for detailed, full volume prints, Live View for accurate pre-focusing and editing, continuous burst-rates of up to 3.4 fps, a DIGIC 4 image processor, and a scratch and glare-resistant high-resolution 3" Clear View LCD that allows for easy 100% image viewing from angles up to 170° off-center from the screen. The Rebel T1i records a choice of full HD 1080p, 720p, and VGA video capture for true high-resolution video that beats or meets the image quality of far costlier pro camcorders. The EOS Integrated Cleaning System combats dust through the use of high-frequency vibrations that shake dust loose from the sensor's front-mounted IR filter every time you power up and power down. It has an ISO rating from ISO 100 through 3200 in standard mode, and from 6400 to 12,800 in expanded mode.
The Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS zoom lens is designed with Canon's Optical Image Stabilizer technology while retaining the compactness and lightness of previous models. Its stabilization allows sharp hand-held shots at shutter speeds up to four stops slower than otherwise possible.
The Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III Zoom Lens is a compact and lightweight 4x telephoto zoom lens ideal for shooting sports, portraits, and wildlife. The improved zoom mechanism also makes zooming smoother than ever.
